They say in North Carolina that it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day and that old saying must be true because TJ and Alli’s special day was absolutely beautiful!
This sweet couple came all the way from Nebraska to have their destination wedding at the Crest Center overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and we feel so honored to have had the privilege to capture their gorgeous wedding!
Friends and family traveled many miles to celebrate with TJ and Alli which made their day extra special!
The morning of the wedding started out with gorgeous details and lots of joy, anticipation and excitement from everyone who gathered at Alli’s parents’ house, bringing sunshine to a cloudy day!
Rain followed Alli as she walked towards TJ for their first look. It was such a touching moment as this stunning couple hugged each other with happy tears in their eyes and rain showered them in their joyful embrace. We were so thankful that by the time we arrived at the venue the rain had cleared and we were able to capture the gorgeous mountain views in their portraits!

Buddy and Chelsie are a blast to work with and even when it started pouring rain just a few minutes into their session, this sweet couple kept a smile on their faces! We decided to rescheduled their session and during “take 2” we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine!
Chelsie had a special vision in mind for their session and with help from friends and family on Facebook, she found two amazing locations! From old rustic barns, golden fields, mountain views and a small pond, our options were limitless and just what Chelsie had dreamed of! Congratulations, Buddy & Chelsie!
