Page 265 – Life is Beautiful

Wes and Michaela are getting married and we can’t believe we are not just filling up our 2017 wedding calendar with so many new and amazing weddings, but that we are already photographing our 2017 couples engagement sessions! We are so excited and blessed to work with some of the most incredible couples and Wes and Michaela are definitely a great example!

We experienced a heavy summer rain shower the exact moment we arrived at one of our favorite river locations to photograph Wes and Michaela’s engagement session, but luckily after a few minutes the storm quickly passed and we were able to get these two in front of our cameras! The humidity was high, but we loved the hazy glow it produced with the light of the sun, mixing with the great amount of moister in the air! It was such a dreamy sight!

This gorgeous couple is so much fun to work with and such naturals in front of the camera! We absolutely loved the idea of Michaela’s request to focus the look of their session around water.

Their sweet baby boy Jaxton even made a special appearence in a few photos and we couldn’t have been happier to see his sweet expressions as he interacted with his mommy and daddy!

A sparkling new engagement ring was elegantly gracing Amy’s left hand as she sat down in front of us at a local coffee shop for our first wedding consultation together. This gorgeous bride-to-be was glowing with excitement as she told us that she knew before her fiancé Matt even proposed to her that she wanted to be a TFP Bride! She was so thrilled that it was finally happening and she was marrying the love of her life!

Great anticipation lead this sweet couple to their wedding day with many special memories that followed for them to cherish forever! We loved Matt and Amy’s engagement session, Amy’s bridal portrait session and their wedding day definitely topped it all off in an incredible way!

Tears came to Matt’s eyes as he turned and saw Amy for the first time as she tapped him on the shoulder during their First Look the afternoon of their wedding day. He quickly grabbed her in a tight embrace, speechless at the sight of his gorgeous bride! Neither of them could let go of each other! This was the moment they had both been waiting for and their hearts were filled with so much joy and peace that beamed from their expressions in big smiles and excited laughter! We absolutely love these first moments when a bride & groom start their wedding day off with each other. There is no rush or pressure to move onto the next event of the wedding day, just an intimate time together at the beginning of the most special day of their lives! These priceless moments are one reason why we love First Looks so much!

Matt and Amy are the sweetest couple both with genuine hearts of gold! Their love and great anticipation for their future together is so beautiful and we were so honored to capture it all!
