It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating and capturing Chris and Katie as they said “I do” and were pronounced husband and wife! Somehow though, we find that over a year has already come and gone and we are now celebrating this beautiful couple’s first wedding anniversary! So, when Chris and Katie connected with us last fall to set up an anniversary session, we couldn’t have been more excited to catch up and get these two back in front of our cameras! Anticipation built as their session date grew closer and even though we had to reschedule their session three times because of rare inclement weather due to thick smoke from forest fires, a blizzard with sub zero temperatures and high winds and a rained out session, this sweet couple stuck it out and we are happy to say that on the fourth try, we were able to finally photograph their first anniversary session on an absolutely PERFECT spring day!

From lush green grass, bright blue skies and a gorgeous sunset by the lake, every location we placed Chris and Katie in seemed to reflect their vibrant love! These two simply are the sweetest couple!
