Juan and Nidia’s wedding day was simply spectacular! From their engagement session, to Nidia’s bridal portraits, to their beautiful wedding day, we absolutely loved working with this sweet couple and getting to know them over the past year.

After our first consultation with Juan and Nidia we couldn’t help but get excited as Nidia explained her vision for incorporating many old Hispanic traditions into every part of her wedding with lots of fun surprises throughout their day (including a very big and exciting one at the end of their reception!)

Every one of Nidia’s dreams became such an amazing reality and we were completely amazed by it all! The colors, the culture, the traditions, the celebration shared with their family and friends, capturing their day as it unfolded was an experience we will never forget!

Juan and Nidia, thank you so much for allowing us to document your first day as husband and wife! Your day was beautiful, but we know that the life you now share together will be even more so!

In the beautiful gray stone chapel of the Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, the sound of a dulcimer filled the crowed sanctuary with pleasant music mingled with the voices of excited friends and family. Everyone was anticipating the moment when Aubrey and Betsy would seal their love in commitment forever before God and all of their witnesses.

The lights were dim, but light radiantly glowed from Betsy as she walked arm linked tight with her father, to Aubrey the love of her life.

 At the altar Aubrey and Betsy joined hands and were pronounced husband and wife. It was a joyous occasion and the sweet couple departed down the aisle, through the doors of the church, as the bell rang loud and flower petals were tossed high!

Their day was truly such an elegant and beautiful occasion!

We absolutely LOVED all the sparkles Betsy incorporated throughout her day, but I think her Kate Spade wedding shoes were our favorite!!

These pink Nordstrom bridesmaid’s dresses were absolutely stunning on these gorgeous girls!

The Saint Francis Episcopal Church is such a charming place to say “I do”! We love all of the soft southern touches added to the ceremony!

Aubrey’s reaction was so sweet! By the look on his face you know he could not be more in love with his gorgeous bride!

Betsy folded 1,000 paper cranes by hand in tradition, making the perfect backdrop for the sweetheart’s table!

Mini Moon Pies and RC Cola were favors everyone enjoyed!
