The clouds were dark and heavy as a summer storm passed through the mountains the day of our photo session. Sunshine was fading in and out and this sweet family was up for a great night no matter what the weather decided to do!

We are so glad that the rain held off and we had a blast having this beautiful family in front of our cameras!

Excitement was in the air not only because this family was all together, but because Derek and Rachael are getting married in just a few weeks!! That’s right, you might recognize this beautiful couple from their engagement session last fall!

It was such a joy to capture this growing family!

It seems like only yesterday that we were photographing Jacob & Mary’s maternity session in an apple orchard and we were super excited when Mary requested an in home lifestyle session to capture their life as a family of three!
