Lake Lure, NC Engagement Photography | David and Jaimee

Although rain was predicted in the forecast all day the afternoon we were scheduled to meet David and Jaimee for their engagement session, this beautiful couple decided to take a chance and go ahead with their session trusting that the radar was correct in it’s prediction that there would be a small break in the storm at exactly the time we had planned to meet up.

We are so excited to say that the rain stopped just in time and the beautiful summer colors in David & Jaimee’s outfits brought a pop of sunshine into each image!

This gorgeous couple is so fun, relaxed and natural in front of the camera and we had a blast capturing their sweet relationship!

Thank you so much, David and Jaimee for the honor of documenting such special memories! We can’t wait to capture your wedding day this fall!

Cleveland, NC Engagement Photography | Gary and Ashley

The forecast was predicting beautiful weather the afternoon of Gary and Ashley’s engagement session at their wedding venue in Cleveland, NC but when we arrived at The Arbors Events heavy dark clouds started quickly filling the sky with signs that a massive summer storm was about to pop up and settle in! We quickly made a plan with this amazing couple and though we only had about 15 minutes with Gary and Ashley in front of our cameras before the thunderstorm hit, we were able to capture many portraits in three different locations around the property! Gary and Ashley were so natural in front of our cameras and moved so quickly through each of their poses that they made our job easy despite the unforeseen weather that could have dampened the night! This beautiful couple were such troopers and even stood in the pouring rain with an umbrella to get a few extra shots to remember their engagement session adventure!

Thank you, Gary and Ashley for the honor of capturing your beautiful love for each other in photographs! We can’t wait to capture your wedding day next year!
