2020
Wow! What a year! There were times when we didn’t know if we’d make it to the end of 2020! It was definitely hands down the hardest year for our business. Our hearts broke for our precious couples as one by one so many had to postpone or cancel their 2020 wedding plans. We went months without shooting, and wondering what the future would hold. Despite it being the hardest year in our business, it was one with the most growth. It caused us to re-evaluate so many things in our business and create new strategies for growth! We could no longer be complacent but we must be creative! Despite so many set backs we still managed to over double our team! We added new associate/second shooters to our team (more on that soon!) and Crosby ( Meghan’s fiance’) joined our team full time to offer videography services. We also created another branch of our business that focuses on Marketing and Real Estate Photography. This branch of our business has opened the door for more travel! We have worked in Miami and Arizona and we had portrait sessions from the low country of South Carolina to beautiful Montana! Our brides and grooms became so creative this year too! We loved watching how they adapted to such an unusal year. From micro weddings, elopements, delayed receptions to full size weddings with a few adjustments. Our couples showed so much grace, joy, patience and love as they navigated through planning, replanning and sometimes replanning again their 2020 wedding days. 2020 you were a whirlwind! 2021? Bring it!
What would our end of the year post be without our behind the scenes! We have so much fun working with our clients and we love going on so many adventures!
